毛筆の筆の動きを表現できるツール。画面の中の硯の上でマウスを使って墨をすり、筆や台紙を選択し、マウスで文字をしたためていく。水墨画や和のテイストを活かしたイラストを作成するなど、和風ペイントソフトとして使用でき、年賀状、俳句、絵手紙、水墨画、習字など、様々な用途に使用できる。筆の感覚をリアルに再現し、「筆の太さ」「にじみ」「かすれ」「筆圧」の効果を自分好みに細かく調整することで、味のある表現が可能。また、オリジナル印鑑を作ることができるほか、「水滴(水差し)」や「硯」などの道具もリアルに再現。墨の濃さは自由に調節でき、色は日本の伝統色30色に加え、1600万色から自由に指定できる。紙は質の違う9種類から選択可能で、背景の雰囲気を変えることも可能。「習字モード」では、お手本に沿って練習でき、採点機能を装備。BMPやJPEGに書き出し、メールやホームページに掲載することも可能。説明扉付きスリムパッケージ版。
