かのデヴィッド・ボウイも大絶賛のアーケイド・ファイア。
米英では既に高い評価を得ている彼らだけに、日本でも早いブレイクを期待しています。
作品のほうは・・・　いや~素晴らしい。最近の新人バンドのなかではダントツだと思います。
どの曲もミュージシャンの感情が非常に良く伝わってきます。
激情、悲嘆・・・ともかくそういう感情が非常にリアルに、かつ激しく伝わってきます。
そこらのエモとかなんだとか言われてるバンドとは比べ物にならないほど情感を揺さぶられ、気づけばもう虜に。
近年ここまで心を揺さぶられたアルバムはありませんでした。
ある意味最高にアツいバンドです。
これからの寒い季節にぴったりかもしれません。
聞けばきっと心が熱くなるはずですよ！

メロディアスで切ない曲が並んでいます。
4曲目のNeighborhood #3 (Power Out)が特にいいです。

この日本盤にはボーナスディスクが付いており、Neighborhood #3
(Power Out)のオーガスト・セッションとライブと２曲も収録されており、
この曲はみんな好きなんだなと思いました。そして何とBrazilのカバー
があります！これがまた哀愁漂い泣ける！

フューネラルを買うならこの日本盤が絶対お得です！

感情の高揚が1曲の中で見事に表現されていて、
聴いていると泣きたくなってくる。
このアルバムの収録曲の多くがタイトルである「葬式」という
言葉を連想させるような、静かで、しめやかな幕開けであるが、
終盤にかけて次第に音が重なり合い、抑えていた感情を爆発させていく。
１つの命の生と死によってうまれる複雑な感情が
美しい音によって再現されていて、深みのある作品。

全曲素晴らしいが、特に9. In The Backseat は格別。切なすぎる。
