これは1975年にリリースされたバリー・マンの傑作セカンド。これはもうすごいとしか言いようがないアルバムである。イクィノックスからリリースされたものでプロデュースは当然ブルース・ジョンストン、テリー・メルチャー、バリー・マンによる共同名義でバックを固めるのはハル・ブレインらをはじめととした腕達者な面々。そして60年代数々の名曲、ヒット曲を生み出したバリー・マンのソング・ライティング。これで悪いアルバムができるわけがなく正直言って心に残る名盤であることに間違いなし。1曲目の軽快なポップ・チューンからしっとりした曲までホント素晴らしいとしか言いようがない。またバリー・マンの心温まる歌声も魅力のひとつ。

CD化されたことだけでも嬉しい限りです。
"ドント・シーム・ライト"はポップスファンなら必聴の名曲です。
ピアノだけで聴かせるこの曲は、マイフェイヴァリットソングの１つです。
作曲家としての知名度と経歴、実力は言わずもがなですが、なんとも味のある暖かいボーカルも魅力です。
＃是非、アルバム"Barry Mann"もCD化をお願いしますm(_ _)m

妻であるシンシアウィルとのコンビでいわゆる現在オールディーズといわれる分野で
楽曲を提供してきたバリーマンであるが、キャロルキングの成功があってか何枚かソロアルバムをリリースしている。
本作品はソロ3枚目であるが大変いい出来のアルバムだと感じる。
バリーマンの太くやさしい声もいい。
ポップスファンやシンガーソングライターファンは是非エバーグリーンな一枚として持っておくことをお奨めする。
