とりあえず、怪しいジャケットと怪しいタイトルに好奇心をくすぐられて購入。　民族音楽がダラダラと流れるかと思いきや、アララ結構ダンサブルな１曲目にハマりました。　おそらく比較的最新のインド・ポップスのオムニバス盤として聞けます。　インドチックなサウンドに浸ってみたい人は買って損はしないと思います。　１０曲しか入ってないけど十分ボリューム感がありますよ、値段も手頃だしネ。　ただ、大槻ケンヂ氏と富沢章夫氏の対談は本CDに収録されている曲の解説になってないのでご注意を。　曲の解説をホームページで掲示ってのはズルいような、今どきのような・・・　でも読み物的にも物足りないので星は３つ。　きびしい？

もし、このCDをカレーに例えるなら

ファミレスで食べる
日本人向けインド風カレー
ってところでしょうか

日本の「おふくろの味カレー」しか知らない人は
ファミレスのインド風カレーに

何てスパイシーでエキゾチック

と感激し、例え本国では食べないビーフやポークが入っていたとしても
これが本場のカレーなんだ！
と思うかもしれません


でもインド帰りの日本人もしくはインド人が食べたら
インド風でそれっぽいけど、インドのカレーとは違う
スパイスが物足りない
それに豚や牛なんてありえない！チキンとマトンだ


ということで、
このCDに伝統的なインド音楽を期待すると外れます

でも万人に現地のインドカレーが口に合う訳ではなく
ファミレスのインド風カレーの方が
食べやすいし美味しいという人もいると思います

個人的にはこれぐらい軽いノリのダンス風な方が聞きやすいです
瞑想したりするには不向きですが

試聴した時に聴いた、"Rang rang"が気に入り購入。ジャケットもタイトルも狙い過ぎ！って感じで、いまいちなのだが、（中学生や高校生の時はこうゆうの好きだった。）中身は結構良い。家に帰ってからMacのiTunesに取り込んだ時は、『やっぱ、買って失敗したかも・・・』って一瞬、後悔したんだけど、改めて聴き直したらやっぱ、良い。なんか、聴いていくうちに、アメリカのR＆Bを聴いている様な錯覚が起きる。（なるほど、Bollywood音楽！！）それと、女性ウ゛ォ-カルの声が別世界に連れて行ってくれるので、気持ち良くなる。結構、聴いていくうちにどっぷりはまりそうです。
