This remastered 2-on-1 CD was recorded in January and June-July of 1959. Features Art Pepper, Jack Sheldon, Bill Perkins, Conte Candoli, Jimmy Giuffre, Stu Williamson, Victor Feldman, Russ Freeman, Mel Lewis & Scott Lafaro. Contains the complete LP's 'The Broadway Bit', & 'I Get A Boot Out Of You' and also includes a booklet with comprehensive liner notes. Lone Hill Jazz. 2005.

踊り子、お風呂の両名盤のカップリングでお買い得。双方探していた方は取り敢えず買っておくべくでしょう。
演奏者は、ご存知ART.PEPPER、J.Sheldon,B.Perkins,C.Candpoli,J.Giuffre,S.Williamson,V.Feldman,R.Freemanといったウェストコーストの珠玉、そしてMei.Lewis、なんとScott　LaFaro（ｂ）！で１７曲。　録音もいいですよ。(1959.1月、6-7月録音）

スコット・ラファロのドライヴィング・ベースとアート・ペッパーの泣きが両方拝める超お買い得版。ビッグバンドファンならずとも持っていて損のないアルバムです。
演奏は？　買って聴いたほうが早い。

何とも情けない事にスコットラファロとアートペッパーと2人の踊り子ばかり注目されペイチに触れられる事はまずないそれでもって長らく廃盤だった国内CDには上記4人のおかげで法外なプレミアが付き続けた馬鹿馬鹿しい限りだデュークエリントン楽団が優れたアドリブ奏者の集合体であるのと同様このCDでもウェストコーストプレイヤーのアドリブをたっぷり堪能できる中でもヴィクターフェルドマンのヴァイブが上品な風情を醸し出しているエリントンとは違いアドリブ奏者のアンサンブルを重視する姿勢はペイチの巨匠スタンケントンに対する尊敬と愛情の念を感じさせてくれるラファロとペッパーは別にどうってことないホーンズの音圧と互角に張り合うラファロのベースが凄い音なのは確かだけど踊り子はともかく2人目当てにこのCDを購入しようとするなら考えた方がいいぞ彼らにはもっともっと優れた演奏が他に幾らでもあるからな。
