発売前から相当期待していたこのＣＤ。かつてストレイキャッツの時代にロカビリーナンバーをカバーした「ＯＲＩＧＩＮＡＬ　ＣＯＯＬ」を大変気に入っていたためだ。サンレコードの楽曲のカバーで、あまり聞いたことのないものも含まれていて、すごく新鮮な気もした。これぞロカビリーって感じでした。ただ・・・「ＯＲＩＧＩＮＡＬ・・・」と比べるとブライアンの味がしない感じで・・・ギターの音がどうしても納得いかない・・・サンレコードのオリジナルの音源を忠実に再現しようとしたみたいですが、もう少しブライアンの音を出して欲しかったような気がします。このＣＤに収録された楽曲によるライブ版が出たらいいですね！きっとライブではブライアンの音がするはずだから・・・

Stray Cats好き、BSO好きには手放しでおすすめできます。極上のロカビリーが２３曲も収録されています。ロカビリーをあまり知らない方でも、ロックが好きな方、昔のアメリカの雰囲気が好きな方には１度聞いてみていただきたいです。ドライブ・酒のお供など様々な場面に合うCDです。

曲はロカビリーを好きなら、知っているのがほとんどです。
勿論、曲調はブライアンセッツァー節になっています。
ですが、オリジナルの方が好いかと思われます…
ファンであっても買う必要があるのかと考えるほどの内容でした。
早くオーケストラが出て欲しいです。
大甘で星４つかと‥
