夫用に購入しました。ボタンで開閉できるので手が塞がっている時など便利です。折り畳んだ時が結構大きいかな。私はX1を使っているんですが、その倍はありますね。広げてみると大差ない感じですけど・・・。X1と比べると骨組み持ち手はかなり頑丈な感じですが強風の時はやっぱり壊れそうなぐらつき感があります。見た目がカッコイイので気分良く使えるという感じのものです。

・グラスファイバー製の骨
皆さんグラスファイバーと聞くと何となく丈夫そうと
思われるのかもしれません。しかし、引張りや曲げに
対する強度があっても、側面から一点に集中した衝撃
を受けると意外と弱いようです。鞄の底などに入れて
おくと、広げたときぽっきりと折れていたりします。
購入時に、なぜこんな仰々しいアルミの筒に入れてある
のか不思議でしたが、こういう理由なのかもしれません。（さびる心配はないので、使用後のメンテに
気を遣う必要がないのはうれしいですが）

・重要な部分に巨大なプラスチック部品を使用
皆さんご指摘の通り、閉じた時にロック機構の
要となる部分で、大きなプラスチック部品が使われて
います。柄の方を下にして落下させるとあっさりぱっくり割れます。

この２点で十分でしょう。なんとか博士が作られた
「あの国で傘といえばKnirps」は、普通の消費者が望む
品質を満たしているとは思えません。
私はあの金属石けんを思い出しました。

素直に２０００円以内程度で、気に入ったデザインの
折りたたみ傘をお使いください。

購入からわずか６ヶ月程度でしたが、ちょっとした不注意で落としたところ、留め具が割れてしまいました。この結果傘が折りたためなくなりました。気づきませんでした、傘とフレームを折りたたんで止める部分がプラ製だったとは。もう少し強度がある部品にしてくれれば良いのに。アルミ缶は気にっていますので別のもう少し丈夫な傘を購入して収納したいと思います。
