最初に１台購入し、気に入ったのでさらに２台購入しました。

長所：
開梱から設置まで１５分あれば完了します。２台目以降は５分でできます。
点滅モードにすると、ＬＥＤ特有の目に刺さるような明るさが、威嚇効果を
発揮します。
防水性は、実地に確認していませんが、電池ケース部分に関しては、余程の
土砂降りでなければ、ケース内に水が浸入することはないと思います。仮に
侵入したとしても、構造上、接点部分が濡れることは無さそうです。
センサーの感度を調節すれば、犬など、小さな発熱体の動きには反応しなく
なります。

短所：
OFFスイッチが無いので、センサー部を覆うか、電池を外すかしない動作しっ
ぱなしということです。まぁ、スイッチの入れ忘れが無いので、利点でもあ
るんですが。
センサーに個体差があるかもしれません。同じ感度に設定していても、発光
する個体としない個体があります。設置場所が違うので厳密な検証はできて
いませんが。

同社のソーラータイプを使用中ですが、もっと簡単なものと探していました。
取付方法もいろいろ選べて簡単に取付可能です。
付属のもので挟み込むタイプですと壁や柱にキズも出来ず、それでしっかり取付可能です。
電池式は電池寿命も不安ですが、
１日数回の点灯でしたら、単２乾電池４本で１年程度は大丈夫です。
このタイプのものでは、いちばん大容量で明るいタイプと思います。
光量もＬＥＤとしては白色で想像していたより明るく実用になります。
強みは防滴タイプではなく防水タイプであることで屋外でも使用可能。
感度調整など微調整も出来ますので、取付後に何度か自分で試して調整すれば最適の状態もセット可能です。
取付は、いずれ電池交換の事を考えると低い場所も良いのですが、
防犯に使用される場合は背の届かないところに取り付けるのが鉄則です。
電池交換に工具は必要ありません。２箇所のネジを順に外せば簡単に取替可能です。
フラッシュも利用価値ありますので、防犯オンリーとしてもう１個買おうと考えています。

前は楽天で買ったのですが、値段は変わらず、
送料無料なので今回はアマゾンにしました。

ベースは前につけていたそのままなので３０秒で設置完了。
ソーラーは日照に影響され防犯用には不安があり、
この電池式は、明るさ・電池の持ちともに合格です。

電池交換の際に汚れが目立っていたので、水道水でジャバジャバ洗ったら、
下部のセンサー部分に水が入ってしまい点灯しっぱなしになってしまった。
それが前回つぶれた原因です。防水ではなく防滴レベルじゃないかな。
