プジョーといえば思い当たるのは車や自転車のメーカーなので、プジョーブランドの名前だけのキッチン製品かというのは大きな誤解。プジョーは19世紀の半ばにコーヒーミルなどのミル製品を作って有名になった会社。ミルが先なのだ。高度な歯車の技術が、車にも生かされている。160年の歴史のあるプジョーのミルはそこいらのミルとは出来栄えが違う。下から覗くとプジョー独特の歯車構造が見られる。風味を保ったままに引けるペッパーの引き応えは満点！プジョーのミルを使うと他のミルはもう使いたくない！粗引き、中引き、細引きが選べる。ペッパーミルチョコレートはチェスのポーンのような形状で手に持ちやすく、木の温もりが心地よいオーソドックスなタイプ。卓上に置いてもカッコよい。13センチは2人家族くらいで使うのが丁度良い大きさ。4人以上の家族でペッパーを良く使う場合にはワンサイズ上を購入した方が詰め替えの手間が省けて良いと思う。因みに使えるのはブラックペッパーやホワイトペッパーオンリー。ピンクペッパーやその他の調味料やミックスされたものは使えないので要注意。同タイプでソルトミルがあるが、色が2色あるのでソルトは白にするを分かりやすいだろう。お揃いが良いのでチョコレートを2つ買ったが、ソルトは白が良かったと思った。

ペッパーミルが紛失してしまった!?ので
今回、黒胡椒用にチョコレートだけを買ったんですが
思わず白胡椒用にナチュラルも欲しくなってしまいました。

バイト先や自宅でペッパーミルを何本か使ってきましたが
使い心地は文句なしです。
