前作までは３ピースで、もう少しパンク寄りの
スタイルでしたが、アルバムタイトルが示す通り
のギター(２人目)の加入や、スプリット盤・オム
ニバス盤への参加を経て久々のリリースとなった
今作では、元々あったメロディアス志向が一気に
強まり、激変。
再デビュー盤と言っても過言ではないほどです。

その内容は、穏やかなイントロから一転して
一気に引き込むM-1を皮切りに、心揺さぶる
"美メロ""泣きメロ"の嵐。
スマートな演奏(特にギターは、ツインになった
効果絶大)や華麗なコーラスワーク、更には
M-5・9などで効果的に使われているストリングス
といった数々の要素が、それを一層引き立ます。
また曲展開も凝っていて、全体の構成も良く、
弛むことなく最後まで聴かせてくれます。

これはメロコア好きならずともお勧めしたい１枚。
(同様の意見が既に出ていますが)特にthe band
apartあたりがお好きな方にはホントにツボでは
ないかと。

ちなみに個人的ベストトラックは…
全部ですね。選べません。

洋楽とは違う何かを感じさせてくれる気がします。
普段は洋楽か、英詩インディーズしか聴かないのですが、
自分にとって、WRONG SCALEは、聴いていてモノすんごい気持ちいいです。

英詩は日本語とは違う何かを持ってる気がします。
それが上手く言葉では表せませんが、
彼らの歌を聴いた時、強く感じました。

音楽って、スゲーなあ。

勿論、日本語詞も好きなんすが。

どっちも最高。

すごい！1曲目で一撃で気に入りました。
バンドアパートを彷彿とさせる哀愁的なメロディー＋疾走感。
曲も全て英詩なので、できれば翻訳もつけて欲しかったかな。
でも胸を張っておススメできますよ、これ。(^^)
