長い歴史のあるKOFですがアクションフィギュアは過去にあったでしょうか？
私は衝動買いしてしまいました。

凶悪な性格が特徴の八神庵ですが、外国産ということもあって顔がごついです。うーん、日本の痩せている顔のほうが好きですね。
関節可動箇所が多いというのを売りにしてますが、決して十分ではありません。
足の可動は全くといっていいほど価値がありません。蹴りのポージングは不可能ですし、ニュートラルな状態から動かすと立たなくなります。足首は動かないようです。
腕はよく出来ています。手首間接があり結構自由です。肩はボールジョイントなので関節が強いです。
青い炎が着いてます。半透明でなかなか良いです。
背中の三日月マークですが悲しいことに先と先が繋がって「円」になってしまっています。多分母国で間違えて捉えられたのでしょう。残念です。
総合してアクションフィギュアとしては少なからず不満があります。しかしKOFファンとしては嬉しい一体。立体で見るキャラクターも一味違います。京も関節に関しては同じような感じなので、一緒に買っても絡みには期待できませんよ。注意してください。

造形は両足をつなぐバンド含め良くできてます。塗装は京と違って顔周りのつやはほとんどありません。この辺の違いが庵らしいですね。可動は標準的なアクションフィギュア並みですが、両肩、股が斜め軸（両肩は微妙に自由度あり）という点で、京と同様。ただし、手首が炎をまとう（つかむ）関係か、回転だけでなくスナップが効きます。肘も二重関節で、曲げても比較的きれいなラインを保ちます。

エフェクトの炎の取り付けで、少し時間がかかりました。入手時、箱の中で分解していたので、メーカーのサイトの写真を参考に、右手は甲を挟むように、左手はつかむようにセットしました。

下半身はあまり表情をつけられないので、基本的に上半身で楽しむ感じだと思います。
京と庵を並べると、やはり壮観です。
