石けん（シェービングクリーム）剃り可、水洗い可、1時間充電、AC電源つなぎっぱなし使用可、など、この価格帯の水準は満たしています。スタイリッシュで軽量なボディもなかなかに魅力的で、手へのフィット感も良好です。剃り味はややソフトめで、強く肌に当てると、自然と刃が引っ込む構造となっており、カミソリ負けの心配がありません。動作音も静かな方です。

それまで使っていたシェーバーで、きれいに剃るために強く肌に当てる癖のあった人は、使用開始時にやや違和感を感じるかもしれませんが、普通のカミソリを使うのと同じ感覚で、適度な角度で柔らかに当ててやると、うまく剃ることができます。慣れてくると、このソフト感は癖になります。

消耗品は、替え刃（外刃1年、内刃3年）の他に、洗浄の度に刃に付けるオイルが必要となります。もっとも、外刃の交換時期に比べれば、オイルは初期付属のボトルだけでもかなり保つと思われます。ケースは黒い布製巾着。質感はややチープですが、本体と付属品は全部まとめて収納可能です。

硬くて短いヒゲは面白いようにサクサク剃れます。
…しかし長いヒゲ(特にやわらかいヒゲ)、うぶ毛が全く剃れません。もみあげ用の刃が無いので、もみあげが剃りにくく、たとえ剃れたとしても変な仕上がりになります。
“石けん剃り可”と書いてありますが、本来電気シェーバーは、忙しい人が水を使わず、手軽にヒゲ剃りをするために開発されたものなので、 電気シェーバーで石けんを使うのは本末転倒でしょう。
ただでさえ電気シェーバーは手入れが面倒なのに、石けんを使わないと深剃りできないようでは、シェーバーを使うメリットが全くありません。普通のT字型カミソリを使った方がいいです。
本品を買う方は、T字型カミソリとの併用をオススメします。(ジレット製が切れ味最高です。)本品だけだと細かい部分が雑な仕上がりになります。
