ファン投票によるベスト盤とのこと。選曲については皆さんいろいろあるかと思いますが、今回の目玉はなんと言ってもリマスター・シリーズには収録されていなかった”5アングリー・アゲイン”や他レーベル所有音源”10メカニックス”の収録ですかね。リマスター・シリーズを全てＣＣＣＤではないＵＫ版で買い揃えましたが、このＣＤも購入してしまいました。やはり国内盤は作りがしっかりしていていいですね。ＣＣＣＤでないのも嬉しかったです。
ただ、私が購入したものはＤＶＤ付限定版の方ですが、ＤＶＤはあくまで「おまけ」の域を出ないもので、個人的にはこっちの通常版で十分だったかな、と。音楽や映像はネット配信で安価に買える世の中になってきていますので、何かしら所有欲を満たすおまけを付けたいのは分りますが、その分値段が高くなっては意味がありません。ＤＶＤも、とりあえず付けましたって感じのが多いしなー。メガデスなら２枚組にするくらい名曲を持ってるんだから、いっそのことＣＤ２枚組みにしてほしかったなあ。

　過去の曲は友人からＣＤを借りて知っていたが、やはり自分も手元にＣＤが欲しいいなと思い、一番ライブでやってる曲が沢山入ってるであろうこのアルバムを買った。

　まあ、ファン投票のベスト版なので捨て曲はあるはずもなくどれも良い曲で、音質もすごく分厚くなっている。

　ディープなメガデスファンの友人曰く『これに入っていないもっといい曲はたくさんある』とのことなので、これをとっかかりとして過去のアルバムを遡って行こうと思う。
　しかし、私のようなメガデス入門、ライブ対策にはもってこいの一枚であると思う。
