YMOやヒカシューや一風堂みたいな音楽ないかな〜と思ったら、いたょいたょ大英帝国に。ジャパン、デュランデュラン、カルチャー・クラブ、そしてこのスパンダー・バレエ。エフェクトの効いたまさに80年代。聴いてみてください。

８０年代ニューウェーブといえばまず、スパンダー・バレエでしょう。
スーツ姿でバシッと決めて、ブラックテイスト溢れるサウンドを聴かせてくれました。
その彼らのデビュー作にして、最高傑作がこのトゥルーです！！
特にタイトル曲”トゥルー”は超有名ですね。
個人的には、”ゴールド”のリズム、ドラマチックな展開がお気に入りです。
抽象的なアルバムジャケットも素晴らしく、かっこよさを象徴しています。
８０’ｓマニア必携の作品ですよ！！
