発売当時、売れて毎日ラジオからこの「レッツ・ダンス」が聞こえていました。
聞きました。うまいし、すごいのは相変わらずなんだけれども･･･。
御免。ボウイファンとしては辛いし、反対意見もあると思う。
はっきりと言えないんだけれど、この一枚は違うと思う。ボウイではないよ。別にボウイがやらなくても誰かがやっても良い音楽だと思う。
その後のシリアス・ムーンライト・ツアーのビデオを見て余計に思った。
･･･ポピュラー歌手のようなボウイがいた･･･他のファンの方御免なさい。でも私にはそうとしか見えなかった。

２４年前のこのレコードを買ってあけた感覚がもどってきました。
大きさは違いますが、わりと忠実にジャケットや歌詞カードが再現されています。それで中古でなくて新品というのも感動です。個人的にはジャパンツアー限定発売だったピクチャーディスクシリーズも再現してほしいです。音は９９年リマスターで格段に向上して依頼音源のせいもあり限界はあると思います。

ポップなロックナンバーが多く聴きやすい作品。バックのアレンジやサウンド・プロダクションなどに興味深いものが満載。
無名時代のスティーヴィー・レイ・ヴォーンがギターで参加。これだけでも買い！
