北海道出身のジャズ・ピアニスト、福井良が1976年に発表した1stアルバムの初CD化。ピアノ（福居）、ベース（伝法諭）、ドラムス（福居良則）のトリオで聴かせます。
跳ねるように軽快な「1.」、しっとりしたタッチの「2.」、流れるようなアルペジオの「3.」、と掴みはOK。福居本人が言う通りにタッチが弱い為に力強さには欠けますが、弱々しくない繊細さが感じられる演奏です。福居本人のペンによる「6.」も聴き所。全体にリラックスした演奏で、それがアクやクセを求める向きには違うかも知れません。が、ジャズ初心者にとっても間口の広い、適度に熱を持った、清涼感溢れるアルバムになっていると思います。
