久しぶりのフルアルバム、本当に待っていましたよ、こんなアルバムを！！ニューエスト時代から、新作が出る度に「これが最高傑作！」と中川さんはおっしゃてましたが、今回は本当にそうです！
雰囲気は、「スクリューボール・コメディ」に近いと思いますが、近年の開放的なサウンドに加えてポップなテイストが戻ってきて、かなり聞きやすく、ロックのカオス・ゾクゾク感も充分！これまで吸収したもの（バンド結成以降ではなく少年期から含め吸収したもの全て）を、全方位的に爆発させています。
「クロスブリード・パーク」や「ウィンズ・フェアグラウンド」は、行儀よく曲が並んでる感じもありますが、今回は「ソウル・サバイバー」のように、落書き帳的な、どこから眺めても楽しい雑多なダイナミズムに溢れ、郷愁を誘うメロディーもあり、人間の地ベタのレベルの情念の詩世界も相まって、本当に素晴らしい1枚が届いたと思います！！

四年振りのフル・アルバム。
この日をどんなに待ち望んだことか。
世界中のあらゆる音を飲み込んできた彼らの一つの到達点では？
かつて日本代表だった彼らは、このアルバムで地球代表になりました。
特に『最前線ララバイ』と『星降る島~オーマルシーラ・オーウラシーラ』は絶品。
しばらくはこのアルバムだけで過ごせそうです。

なんというか、全体にスコーンと抜けた感じを受けます。
青空に向かっているというか、「みんなの笑顔」って感じです。
なんだかよくわからないかも知れませんが、これは世界のベストかも。
オレもポンコツ車に乗せてくれ！
