以前から、FMで耳にして、気になっていたが、
たまたま「メジャー初アルバム」と書かれていたので迷わず購入。

「2」と言うからには「1」もあるのか…と検索したら、
「マーブルの月」が入っている「swingin’street」もあったようで、
これも購入予定。

初回限定版には絵本「5日目の笑顔」が入っている。
曲と同じく、なんだか切ない気分になる。
「八重芯」のPVも良い。

個人的に一番好きなのは「マリポーサ」
cobaのアコーディオンとdorlisの声が良い。
スペインの街角でスウィングしてるような…

吐息を漏らして歌う艶やかさが魅力のdorlis。
一度聴いたら忘れられない彼女の歌声は、一聴の価値ありです。

ドラマ主題歌にもなった『肌のすきま』も入っていて、dorlis初心者にも聴きやすいアルバムになっていると思います。
dorlisの歌声とギター、バイオリン、アコーディオンで広がる世界は、聴いていてとても心地よいです。

ただ、テンポの速い曲や音程の上下が激しい曲になると、声が危なっかしくなるのが気になります。
とは言え、まだまだ若いので、このまま歌い込んでいけば、実力派アーティストになるのも、時間の問題でしょう。
彼女のこれからの成長に期待して、星５つを付けたいと思います。

この若きシンガー・ソング・ライターの紡ぐ音楽は、どこか遠い昔に聴いた懐かしい音楽を突然、今、目の前に付きつけられた感じのようで、それに驚いているわけなのですが。
この歌姫の奏でるアコースティック・ギターの早引きは脅威ですし、上手さに感心しています。幼い頃からの努力が花開いた感じでしょうか。

全国のストリートで歌ってきたとのことですが、何を聴いて育ってきたのか、というバックグラウンドにも興味を覚えますが、ともかく、目の前に流れている1930年頃に流行ったジャジーな音に身を任せることにしましょう。

「マリポーサ」のリズム感、スウィング・ジャズを彷彿とするサウンドはいいですね。ジャズのジャンルに限定は出来ませんので。
「肌のすきま」では、昭和歌謡っぽい発声に惹かれました。艶っぽいウィスパー・ヴォイスは独特の香りを振り撒いています。
サンバのリズムが洪水のように押し寄せる中で歌われる「八重芯」の鮮やかな歌唱。
「君色カレンダー」は気に入りました。疾走感がたまりません。
その他の曲もどれも個性的でしたね。

まえだゆかの絵本『５日目の笑顔』も気に入りました。悲しいお話ですが、dorlisの歌のイメージとイラストとがよく合っていると思います。
