昨今のゴシックロックの範疇で説明された方が、手に取ってみる人が多いのでしょうが、私にとってはサイケデリック・ロックです。
フィンランドのAMORPHISのメタル色を薄め、様々な民族音楽のリズムをまぶした感じで、あなたをきっと異世界に連れて行ってくれることでしょう！

ノルウェー出身のゴーテの２ndアルバム。
プログレッシヴでトラッドな音楽性にゴシック、ハードロックな要素もあり非常に魅力的なバンドだ。
ノルウェーでは最近、LUMSKというバンドがいるが、それと同じような音楽性だ。(LUMSKのほうが幾分ダークでよりメタル的だが）
ヨーロッパでは注目されているという事実にも納得します。
日本ではまず売れないだろうし、話題にもあまりならないだろうが、個人的には今後も要注目バンドの１つだ。

土着的な要素を多分に含みつつ、ゴシック的な要素も兼ね備えた聴き応えのあるアルバム。

メタル色はあまりなく、バックグラウンドにかけて楽曲の世界に浸りたくなるような音楽。

下の方も書かれている様に日本での受けはよくないだろうが、ごく少数の人にとってはマストアイテムとなる魅力は十分あると思われる。
