画質は、決して良いとは言えませんが、音質と演奏は◎です。
この内容と価格なら、なにも文句はありません。
観終わったあとは、お腹いっぱいって感じです。

本作は、２０００年１０月、ＮＹマジソン・スクェア・ガーデンで行われた「ワン・ナイト・オンリー」コンサートの模様を記録したもの。ボーナス・トラックを除き、本編は全２７曲。エルトンにとっての２０世紀（正確には２０００年までが２０世紀です）を総括する意味合いもあって、ヒット曲のつるべうちという感じ。アルバム「グッバイ・イエロー・ブリック・ロード」と同じ曲でスタートするという構成が粋。そして、キャンドル・イン・ザ・ナイト（ダイアナ妃の死とともに封印した９７年版ではない、オリジナル版）、ベニーとジェッツという嬉しい選曲の後、グッバイ・イエロー・ブリック・ロードでゲストにビリー・ジョエルを迎える、という前半の展開で多くのファンはメロメロになるだろう。以下、ロケット・マン、ユア・ソング等の最初期の瑞々しい作品から９０年代の曲まで、彼の主要曲を漏れなくカバーしている。同じ舞台にともにたったジョン・レノンへの想いをカム・トゥゲザーに託し、最後はクロコダイル・ロック、土曜の夜は僕の生きがい、あばずれさんのお帰り、という７０年代からのエルトン・ファンにはたまらないヒット曲で怒涛のように盛り上がり、僕の瞳に小さな太陽という偉大なバラードを挟んで、懐かしのキキ・ディーとのデュエットで幕を閉じる。もうこのＤＶＤを持っていれば、エルトンのベスト盤をＣＤで求める必要はないだろう。それぐらいに内容の充実した素晴しいＤＶＤです。
