4.0 out of 5 stars こってりとした純度の高いロマンの世界, 2007/4/19
1970年頃の「ショパン　ピアノと管弦楽の作品全集」録音からの抜粋。いかにもアラウらしい書パンの世界だ。
特に第２番へ短調の第２楽章は、清澄なオーケストラの導入といい、こってりとした純度の高い水飴のようなアラウのピアノの音といい、素晴らしいロマンの境地だ。ショパン特有の長大で細やかな装飾音符（ショパンの重要な展開法の一つ）一つも疎かにせず、その魅惑的な価値を明らかにする。アラウならではの至芸といえよう。
若き日のインバルの指揮も好演。
アルヘリチやツィマーマンの颯爽とした剛毅はないが、ゆったりとした夜のひと時、ロマンチックな気分に浸りたい人にはぴったりだ。

ショパンのピアノ協奏曲はよい出来のCDが多いですが、これも間違いなくその1つに挙げられます。聴いていて、年齢を感じさせない、強烈かつ繊細な打鍵を想像できました。アラウ独特の緩やかな奏法です。お勧めです。
