~最近の国内メーカーのノートPCのコンセプトがよく分からないものが多い中、松下電器のノートはそのコンセプトが良く伝わってくる。それは「モバイル」だ!!以前のSONYの505シリーズのように、とやかく言われなくても、その使用目的が製品を見ただけで分かる。
例えば、スペックは、CentrinoTMモバイル・テクノロジインテル~~ PentiumMプロセッサでハードディスクが40ギガとなっており、本体自体の重さや大きさに力を入れている。こうした点からも、松下電器が「モバイルをするためのサブノート」という位置づけであることが分かる。

こうした、ものを他のメーカーで探すとなかなか見あたらない。つまり、「性能はサブノート並み」しかし、「大きさ、重量は据え置き」というものである~~。そして、こうした物を作っていたことが、松下電器もある。しかし、そうした物から脱却した素晴らしい名機である。ちなみに、そうしたコンセプトを示し続けていたSONYは、現在では残念ながら、すでにその位置にいない。

ちなみに、私はSONYのPCG-505Rというとにかく軽量のパソコンを使っていたが、そうしたものから乗り換えるとしたら、現在ではこのノートパソ~~コンしかない。~

~よくよく考えてBTOモデルでメモリ1G、HDD80Gモデルを購入しました。
重さを計ってみたところ1000gでした。
999gは語呂合わせと聞いていましたが増設モデルの重さから見るともう少し軽そうです。
はじめて駆動してバッテリーの持ち時間の狂いを調節するユーティリティーをセットしてPCと止めたところですが底面の熱が非常に気になります。
HDDはパーティションが切~~られていない形式でリカバリーのための不可視領域と2パーティションにのみ分けられています。CとDなどに分けるにはリカバリーをかけて分割せよと説明書には書かれています。ピンをおって3V駆動にして搭載してある特別な構成と関係があるかは不明です。
あとモバイルとしてはIEEE1394が無いのは致命的ですね。データ交換がしずらいので注文後になんでそんなの買っ~~たのかと同僚に言われてしまいました。
メーカーの話しではバッテリーが9時間というのは起動してまったく触らない状態だそうです。使用時には半分らしいです。購入前に見せてもらったときは起動時の消耗が気になっていたのですが殆ど起動ではバッテリーを消耗しないところを見せてもらいました。
熱が上がると処理スピードを落とすらしいのでPowerPointの再生等~~で固まる等の症状が出るかちょっと気になります。~
