根っこにあるのはメタルというよりハードコアか。

9では印象的なギター･ソロも聴くことが出来る。ヴォーカルは終始、時に慟哭しているかのように吼えまくっているが、ギターや曲構成などにメロディを重視している姿勢が感じ取れるし、メタル･ファンにも受け入れられそう。5なんかはアコースティック・ギターをフィーチャーしたインストの小品だ。

プロデュースはデヴィン・タウンゼンドだけど…もう少し、ギターを鋭利に際立つようなプロダクションにした方が良かったんじゃないかなぁ？悪く言えば、スレイヤーやザ・ホーンテッドの劣化した亜種と受け取られてしまうかもしれない。聴いていて暴れ出したくなるというより、ぼ〜っと聴き込んでしまうというのは、この手のバンドとしては、本意ではあるまい。
