ゼノギアスの曲を御本人がアレンジ、そしてそれを本場のアイリッシュ
バンドが演奏という夢のようなアルバムです。
当時はサントラの延長として購入したのですが、ゲームやサントラの域
を越えたオリジナルアルバムに近いもので、すぐにその独特の雰囲気と
ライブ感に引きずり込まれました。今でも、何度聴いても新しい発見と
感動があります。特に9番目のLAHANはアイルランドの村の酒場にいる
ような臨場感、生の空気、楽しさがあって最高です！
廃盤になる直前に予備でもう一枚買おうか迷ったのですが、復刻版が
出たら出たでまた予備で買うべきか迷います~(^-^；)
とにかくケルトミュージック好きな方は是非御一聴を☆

（一つ言うならヴォーカル曲はサントラ版（ゲーム内で使用されたもの）
の方がオススメです。なにしろIONAのJoanne Hoggさんが唄って
いらっしゃるので…。合わせて聴くと本当に素晴らしいです。）

ゲームはちょっとしかやった事がないので知らない曲もいくつかありましたが、ケルト音楽が大好きな
僕にとっては何の問題も無く感じられました。
壮大なゲームの世界を思い出しながら、新しいゼノギアスの世界を発見することが出来ました。
このサントラの購入基準は、ケルト音楽が好きか嫌いか。これに尽きると思います。
オリジナルの原型は留めているものの、ケルト音楽があまり好きではない人にとっては、オリジナルの
イメージが壊れる恐れがあるので止めた方がいいと思います。
でも、ゼノギアスの音楽ではなく光田さんの音楽が好きなんだ！と言う方にとっては、きっと聴いても損はしないんじゃないでしょうか？

アレンジバージョンだけあってかなり音楽のクオリティーは高いのですがサントラ版に執着しすぎているのか日本語の歌詞に抵抗を持ってしまいました。
10曲のうち5曲は歌が入っており、内、4曲は日本語です。
曲数は少ないですが、一つ一つがそれなりに長いのでサントラ版にいたらないにしてもボリュームもまあまあです。
