　やっぱりakikoはこうでなっくちゃ！
ライブ感がムンムンの一枚です。初回版のみのシングル版（mood indigo他一曲)もgood!

日本人離れしたBlueな声の持ち主、akikoさんのライブアルバム、その名も「simple blue」。あいかわらず痺れるほどカッコイィ。「So Cool ！」 って感じ？！ 文句なしにお薦めの一枚、満点っすっ！！！

　音楽とは関係無いところで、、、販売方法として残念なのが初回特典の８cmシングル。。。いまどき８cmシングルはケースからも取り出しづらいし、扱いづらい。あと、直近過去２作品と同じく、SACDも発売して欲しかった。

akikoのアルバムは全作持っていますが、このアルバムは今まででいちばん好きです。前作2枚は須永辰雄のプロデュースで少しクラブジャズ気味になっていましたが、今回はバックがピアノトリオだし、ライブ録音なので、アコースティックな感じでシンプル。akikoの良さがじゅうぶん出ているような気がします。
