家具と天井の距離が離れすぎていると効果が薄い
必ずしも、これだけで確実に転倒を防げるものではない

いわゆる、浅の部分につけないと効果は薄い可能性も

それに、必ず気をつけなければいけないのは
転倒を防ぐには、これ+家具の重心を下に置くこと
重たいものは必ず家具の下部に設置すること
これを守らなければ、本来の効果などない

このような家具転倒防止ポールなどは、ネット通販で買うことはできないと思いこんで、近くのホームセンターや家具店を長い間探していた。長いものはどこでもあるのだが、短いサイズ（超ミニ）が見当たらなかった。ネットで探せば何でもあることを痛感した。しかも、注文後すぐに届いた。品質は今まで長いポールで実物を見ているので全く問題なし。満足。

今年の３月下旬、福岡で実際に地震を体験したものですが、やはりこれだけでは不安は拭えません。壁にタンスを固定するのがベストな様な気がしますが、面倒だし、壁に穴を開けるのも気が進みません。
ですが、無いよりはマシだと思います。少なくともいざという時（取り付けたにもかかわらず、タンスが転倒する場合）、身をかわすのに役立つかもしれません。しかし、突然の震度５、６クラスの地震ではまともに立ってられないので無理かもしれませんが．．．
ご購入をお考えの方、サイズがあるのでご注意を。安心感を得る為に購入しても損はないと思います。
