   弁護士の恋人マークとのラブラブな日々を送るブリジットだったが、マークが出席する弁護士協会のディナーに意気揚々と乗り込んでは失敗し、一緒に行ったスキー旅行でもさんざんな目に。秘書との仲が怪しいと嫉妬し、マークとの仲がギクシャクしたはじめた彼女は、出張先のタイで、プレイボーイのダニエルに言い寄られる。その後、彼女は大変な目に合うことに。
   第1作目は原作とともに映画も大ヒット。負け犬の代表となったブリジットの恋の続きを見せる第二作目は、うまくいっていた恋を、結婚への焦りと、つまらない嫉妬で台無しにしてしまう姿を描く。好きゆえに結婚へ過度な期待を持ち、彼の側にいる女性へ嫉妬し…というブリジット。自分に自信がなく、絶対的な安心を得たい彼女の気持ちに共感する結婚適齢期の女性は多そう。とはいえ今回のストーリーの展開は、負け犬女性の日常を飛び越えて、数々のトラブルに見舞われる大胆な展開に。タイで事件に巻き込まれるなど、ヒロインの心情をユーモラス＆ていねいに綴った前作よりも、エンタテインメント性の高い作りになっている。（斎藤　香）

劇場で観ておもしろかったのでDVDを購入したのですが、観はじめてすぐ「？？？？？」！と愕然としました。字幕が劇場版と違う！まるでカルチャースクールの素人が訳したような、なんともお粗末な字幕なのです。
発売元に問い合わせたところ、「うちは本国で作ったものをDVDにして売っているだけなので・・・」と、こちらもお粗末な回答。せめて売る時にその旨を告知すべきでは？と思います。
なぜ劇場版とDVDで異なる字幕になってしまうのか不明ですが、劇場版のナイスな字幕を知っているだけに、このDVDではまったく感情移入できず楽しめません。

前作同様、大いに笑えました！

原作では、続編は恋愛的にシリアスな部分も多く、ブリジットとマークの気持の動きを追いながら切ない気持になることもありましたが、映画はブリジットという明るいキャラクターを活かし、笑いに重点をおいて作られています。入り組んだ人間関係もわかりやすく置き換えてあり、映画的にはよかったと思います。前作からの流れを汲んだオープニングとエンディングはとても気に入りました。

コリン・ファースが素敵なことは言うまでもありませんが、イヤなヤツを演じるヒューも名演です♪

前作は、一つの町を舞台に話が進んでいって、
その当時はまだ、レネーゼルウィガーも今ほど知名度も高くなく（それでも十分人気ありましたが・・）何の先入観もなく見れたのですが、
今作は、他の国に行ってみたり、そこで事件に巻き込まれたりと・・スケールが大きすぎてしまって、前作のような内容を期待していた私は、若干違和感がありました。
こちらは、原作読んだからおもしろそうな感じかも・・？
