アニメ放送当時私は小学生だったのですが、『晴れてハレルヤ』と『風にあそばれて』は凄く印象深かったので最近になって改めてもう一度聴き直してみました。
するとメロディーは勿論、歌詞も素晴らしく大人になった私の心にとても響き、今では辛い事があったらこの歌を思い出して元気をもらっています。カラオケでも毎回歌って、友達にこの歌を広めています。

1994年に放送されていたほうのサウンドトラックです。
実際に聞いて見ると、懐かしさがこみ上げてアニメの方も見たくなってきます。こんな曲があったっけ？なんて曲も入ってるので、新鮮な感じもします。
ただ、1トラック内に数曲収録されていて曲単位で聞けないことがあるのが残念

「ANIMEX1200」として、『魔方陣グルグルオリジナル・サウンドトラックVol.1』と共にめでたく復刻されました。
'94年から朝日放送系で放送されていた第一期「グルグル」のO.S.T.第二弾です。

『Vol.2』の総収録時間は約27分と短め。
にも関わらず『Vol.1』と同じ価格といことで、ちょっと“お買い得感”は薄れてしまうかも？
もともとコストパフォーマンスの高い「ANIMEXシリーズ」。収録時間あたりの単価をみれば、これでも安い方なんでしょうけど。

収録楽曲はロック、ジャズ、演歌歌謡風など、様々なジャンルに渡っていて、『Vol.1』よりもバラエティに富んでいるのが特徴です。
『Vol.1』同様、組曲形式で数曲まとめて1トラックに入っています。
冒頭に後期OPテーマ『晴れてハレルヤ』(奥井亜紀)を収録。
また最後には『Vol.1』にも収録されていた『Wind Climbing ~風にあそばれて~ 』のロング・ヴァージョンが収録されています。

個人的にはどうしても寄せ集めという印象が拭いきれず、独立したサントラとして聴くと物足りない気がします。
やはり『Vol.1』『Vol.2』セットで聴きたいところ。どうせなら二枚組みの単一パッケージでリリースしてくれるとよかったのですが……。
