しっとり切ない、でもどこかほのぼのとした感じの別れの歌。
彼の作品は歌詞がやはりイイですね。　
夕暮れのその美しいシーンが自然に浮かんできます。
“純粋な恋の詩”という感じで　聴いていてちょっと切なくなりますが
聴き終えてちょっと温かい気持ちにもなれる　静かな曲です。
派手さはないけれど癒し系で　夏の夕暮れにこんな曲もいいかも。

それがこの曲の第一印象！昔の直太朗を思い出した。今が悪いというわけではないけど、「さくら（独唱）」で、売れてからの直太朗の歌には余裕というものがなかった気がする。すばらしい曲をいっぱい出してそれなりに売れたけど、なんか違うと思ってた。

この曲を聴いてすごく心が動いたし、泣きそうになった。いつものことながら詞がすばらしい。いい意味で余裕がでて、表現力もアップした。ひとつひとつの言葉を丁寧に歌っていたアルバム「乾いた唄は魚の餌にちょうどいい」のようにすばらしい作品だと思う。

「くちびるが象ったさよなら」って感じで、かなしくてせつない別れだけど、やさしい愛情が伝わってきて、前向きな感じのする名曲です。
何度も聴きたくなります。直太朗の歌い方に味があります！心がこもってて好き！

久しぶりに、しみじみと繰り返して聴きたい曲に出会えた気がしています。

詩の中からイメージが膨らんできて、切なくて、ちょっと泣きたくなる感じ。

それにしても「夕間暮れ」なんていう言葉、暗くなってしまう前の、つかの間のひと時を言い得ていて、日本独特の情緒あふれる言葉ですよね。このような言葉のニュアンスを大切にする森山君、まだ若いのにお人柄がしのばれます。

ベストアルバムも出し、外観もがらりと変わった｢新生森山直太郎｣のこれからの作品も、とても楽しみです。
