A4用の書類ケースに入ってしまう薄さが何よりの魅力。約1.3kgと最近では平均的な重さながら、薄い為、鞄に入れても場所を取らず、取り出しやすい。最厚部ですら一般的な青年漫画雑誌よりも薄いです。この利点と液晶のサイズを考えると、個人的には一回り小さいミニノートよりも使いやすい。「薄い」事による持ち運びの利点は想像以上でした。ACケーブルも小型なのがありがたい。ファンも静かで、パームレストが熱くなるような発熱はない。液晶の質は及第点で特筆するべき優れた点はない。個人的にはもう少し液晶の最高輝度があれば良かったと感じています。

また、薄さを追求した事によって頑丈さの面では不安があり、裸のまま鞄に入れてしまうのはためらわれる。ケースなどに入れて持ち運ぶ事になると思います。また、キーボードの左側半分が多少たわんでしまうという欠点もある（キータッチの邪魔となるようなたわみではない）。

ビジネス用として、あるいは図書館や研究室などで長時間論文やレポートを書く学生・院生にはお薦めだと思います。

特筆すべきはシリーズの安心感。シリーズが途絶えることがない。
これを実現できているのは、東芝と松下位だろう。
使用感も順調に受け継いでいる。

シリーズに共通しているが、セカンドバッテリは必須だ。
セカンドバッテリを使うことで、会議にPCを持ち込む際にACアダプタを
携帯する必要が無くなる。カタログスペック11時間は伊達ではなく、
デフォルトの設定ならば4時間程度駆動する。よっぽどの長丁場で
無ければバッテリの心配は要らない。

松下のノートに比べると携帯時の耐久性に不安を感じる事があるかも
しれない。松下の提唱する満員電車に耐えるスペックでは無いとは
思うので、満員電車に乗るような方は松下のノートでも良いと思う。

その点を許容できれば、薄さから演出される美しさに関しては
申し分ない。これを使うと他のシリーズを使う気になれない。
昨今とにかく安ければ良いというPCの中で非常に判りやすくこだわり
を演出できるノートだ。

お勧めする方は、会議にACアダプタを持ち込んでいる方だ。
人によっては、鞄にPC、ACアダプタ、マウス等、会議グッズ一式を
詰めて会議に臨む方もいるようだが。パッド操作にも慣れれば、
会議に持ち込む品物の量が格段に減るだろう。

両手に抱えている荷物が確実に片手になるはずだ。
