5.0 out of 5 stars 「マスク」のパロディーっぽい邦題ですが, 2005/4/26
　中身も基本的に「マスク」のパロディです。
　でも変身するのは変な物ばかり。

　金持ちのバカ息子が訳あって爆死します。そして博士に改造人間として復活させてもらうのですが、予算がなくてブリキです。
　変身機能を授かりますが、データがスーパーのカタログなので日常雑貨にしか変身できません。
　チャウ・シンチーのファッションも笑えます。シースルーのシャツなのにランニングシャツ着てます。

　そしてヒロインのジジ・リョンも、アイドルとは思えない体当たり演技です。これに関しては観てくださいとしか言えません。

シンチーの体を張ったギャグの数々はもちろん必見ですが、決して手を抜かない演技力にも注目。『食神』の史提芬周の系統に属するわがままおぼっちゃまぶりは、爽快なほどです。
また、本作の（本作も？）注目は脇役陣。他レビューでも指摘されているジジ・リョンの不細工演技（特に学生時代）は、カレン・モクにも匹敵するほどの壊れよう。彼女とシンチーの共演が一本だけなのは惜しまれます。
また『広州殺人事件』でもいい味出してた徐錦江（チョイ・ガムコン）が、アインシュタインかクリストファー・ロイドか（笑）という「博士」に扮し、最高。呉孟達とのおじさんコンビは個人的にツボです。「大師兄」黄一飛も共演。
どちらかといえば言語を駆使したギャグが多いシンチーの作品（少林サッカー以前）の中で、見た目の変化で笑わせる要素が強いこの作品。そう考えると、ある意味これは無厘頭から少林サッカーへの転換を予言する重要作品といえるのかも。

ハワイに住む香港大富豪のドラ息子・シンは、執事タットも手を焼く放蕩ぶり。ある日、日本のヤクザの情婦と付き合ったことがバレ、ヤクザが仕掛けたバクダンでシンはバラバラに吹き飛んでしまう。だがマッド・サイエンティスト、チャン教授の手術で変身機能を持った改造人間として蘇ることに。手術費用を大幅に値切ったことで、どうやら欠陥があるらしいが、シンとタットは香港へ戻り、シンは教師となる。ところが学校へシンをバラバラにしたヤクザが乗り込んできた…。
