なんと言っても、ミシェルとジェシカのハーモニーがとても心地良いです。

一言で「カントリーミュージック」と表しても、
それ以上の要素を持った音楽だと思います。
ミシェルとジェシカのふたりであるからこそ、
生み出せる音楽の世界。とても新鮮で、でも懐かしくて。
部屋でも車の中などでも、どこにでも持ち歩けるって感じです。

個人的には「The Good Kind」が特にお気に入りです。
曲中で何度も繰り返されるコーラスがとても心地よくて
ふたりの声に酔いしれてしまうっていう感じです。笑

今までカントリーミュージックに手を伸ばしきれなかった人でも
気軽に聴くことのできるアルバムだと思います。
この曲を聴けば、彼女たちの声のとりこになること間違いなしです！

このＣＤに出会ったのはまだ日本版の発売が決定されていないときで、
最近ミシェル・ブランチは活動してないのかなぁ？と気になっていた頃です。
普段はほとんど聞かないＡＦＮをつけたときに、ちょうど『Leave the pieces』が流れているのを耳にして、
「あれ？この声はもしや!?!?」と思って調べたのがきっかけです。
結構前からデュオで活動はしてたみたいですね。全然知らなかったのでびっくりしました。
どの曲も聴けば聴くほど味がでて良いです。
個人的にはLeave The Piecesはもちろん良いのですが、TennesseeとCigarettesをかなりおすすめします。

The Wreckersはあのミシェル・ブランチと、
彼女の親友のシンガー、ジェシカ・ハープとのユニットです。
アルバム製作中のニュースを聞いて以来、長期間何も発表されていなかったのですが、やっと発売日が決まりました。
シングル曲の『Leave The Pieses』を聴くと、2人の声は本当に良く似ていて、よく聴かないと区別がつきにくいほどです。
それだけに、すごく綺麗なハーモニーを聴かせてくれるユニットです。
1曲しか聴いてませんが、期待を込めて☆４つ！
