ハワイ・フランス・イタリア・アフリカ等、世界の音楽をテーマにアルバムを制作してきた小野リサの2005年のテーマはラテン！ラテンをテーマに3部作をリリース！第1弾である今作は「Sophisticate(洗練）」がテーマ。名盤『DREAM』を手掛けたオスカー・カストロ・ネヴィスを迎え、ラテン・ミュージックをベースにしたモダンでポップなボサノヴァ作品！
【プロフィール】
ブラジル・サンパウロ生まれ。幼少時代をブラジルで過ごし、15歳でギターを弾きながら歌い始め、1989年にデビュー。ボサノヴァを日本中に広める。これまでにボサノヴァの第一人者と言われる数々のアーティストとアルバムやライブで共演を果たし、海外公演を行うなど、日本に留まらない活動に各国からも注目を集める。日本におけるボサノヴァの第一人者として、その地位を不動のものにしている。

小野リサさんのＣＤは何枚か所持していますが、今回の出来栄えも大変よいです。小野さんの透き通るような歌声は、心を和ませてくれます。
テレビ東京／ワールドビジネスサテライトのエンディングテーマも収曲されています。ＴＶでは、サビの部分しか流れませんので、このＣＤで全部聞く事ができました。

石川智さんのパーカッションと、フェビアン・レザパネさんの演奏がシンプルで美しく好きです。一曲だけですが、"Volver A Empezar"で、ルイス・ヴァジェがフリューゲルを吹いていて、あたたかく哀愁の感じられるサウンドで聴いていて嬉しくなります。ケヴィン・レトーと一緒にやってるのが好きだったゲイリー・ミークがサックスとフルート吹いていますね。サックスはスムーズ・ジャズかフュージョンタッチでソロをとり、フルートはラテンで行きます。彼もさりげなく上手い。そして、"Ceu Cor de Rosa / Indian summer"でのコーラスは、特に良いです。綺麗ですね。オスカー・カストロ・ネヴィスのアレンジとギターのプレイは、シンプル＆ビューティフル。リサさんが、自然に歌っているのが、実に心に沁みる。"キサス・キサス・キサス"。これをこういう風に歌う人ははじめて聴きました。ラテンのスタンダードを知っている人が聴けば聴くほど、新鮮な感じがするし、はじめて聴く人も楽しく聴けそう。

小野リサさんによる。ラテン3部作の第一弾。これまで、ハワイ、フランス、イタリア、アフリカなど世界各国の音楽をテ-マにしてきた彼女ですが、今回は彼女にとって身近なラテンがテ-マ。お馴染みの「キサス、キサス、キサス」や「ビギンザ　ビギン」「インディアン　サマ-」などラテンの名曲、更にオリジナル「ロス　パティトス」を加え全11曲収録。今回は6年前に小野リサさんのアルバム「DREAM]を手掛けた　オスカ-　カストロ　ネヴィスを迎えたことで、極上のモダンでポップなボサノヴァのサウンドを聴かせてくれます。
