22歳の新ドラマーの城戸紘志加入以後の、JUDEの楽曲は
疾走感が溢れていて、ノリの良さという点では優れたものだが
じっくりと味わって聞ける楽曲が少なくなったように感じられる。

んー別に嫌いじゃないんだけど・・・
という感じです。
５曲目までのミニアルバムだったらもう少し好印象でした。
バンドは違いますが、浅井さんの前作
ｎａｔｕｒａｌなどは音が耳に入ってくると
フワ-っと光景が浮かんできたのですが、今作はなんかほとんど
浮かんできません。JUDEはHighwayChildまでのメンバーで作っていた
楽曲の方が自分は好きです。

浅井さん本人もどこかのインタヴューで「今作は何か足りないと感じる
人もいると思う」みたいな事を言っていましたが、まさにその通りだと
思います。

　正統派ロックを憎らしいくらいカッコよくやり続けている浅井健一が率いるJude。城戸紘志の加入による新生Judeの2作目はほどよいドライブ感とともに、胸にチクリと軽い痛みを与える。
　前作の’ZHIVAGO’が低い感じでドーンと響いてくるのに比べると、今回の作品はすこし軽いラインを奏でている印象。Judeを今まで聴いたことがない人は、もしかしたら今回の作品のほうが入りやすいかもしれない。
　少しヘビーな曲調で始まり、6曲目ではなんとインストルメンタル、ライブでの演奏を期待させてくれる。後半では、「silvet」と並ぶ名曲となるだろう「silk」などやわらいだ曲調の楽曲が中心となり、美しくきらめく瞬間を奏でる浅井健一の世界が目の前に色をつけて拡がる。そしてそれは何度聴いても色あせることなく、聴くたびに新たな風景を見せてくれる。
　歌詞カードの中にメンバーと一緒に微笑みを浮かべた浅井健一がいる。その表情がこの作品をものがっているかもしれない。
