   本作は、ラーメンズの小林賢太郎プロデュース公演第2作目をDVD化したもの。経営難に陥ったケーキ屋「七日堂」を再建すべく、七日間の休業を取り、起死回生のアイデアを絞り出そうとする4人のスタッフが中心となって七転八倒する。しかし、そのスタッフは揃いに揃って曲者ばかり。ケーキ以外のものなら何でも作れるパティシェ、プロレス好きで何年もケーキを作っていないパティシェ、普通の地味なケーキしか作れないパティシェ、経営手腕が欠けた2代目女性オーナー。この4人の他に、アルバイト、ライバル店のパティシェ、などが関わってきて起死回生どころか、 事態は複雑になるばかり。小林賢太郎ならではの巧妙でスマートな脚本が冴えている。（仲村英一郎）

小林賢太郎さんのこれでもかと言うほどに張り巡らされている伏線に、何度見ても新鮮な感動と笑いが得られる作品。good day houseではちょっと欠けていたラーメンズらしい空気感が今回は表現できています。変わった名前の登場人物も見ていけば納得！＆爆笑。特にごみ捨てじゃんけんは覚えてみたくなること間違いなしです！集中して一気に見て、見終わってなんだかケーキを食べたように元気になれます。みなさんに是非見て欲しいです！！｢ねえ、見て！俺今面白い格好になってるよ！｣

挿入曲の軽快さと、登場人物たちの人柄が和やかなムードを作り出しています。
人物設定がとんでもないと思いつつもどんどん引き込まれていってしまう、そんな作品です。
決して甘くは無い現実に置かれながらも、甘い考えを捨てきれない人間と、それを辛口にばっさり切っていく人間の配置がお見事。
さらに舞台はケーキ屋･･･これは確信犯と言えるでしょう。
大切な日に大切な誰かとケーキを食べる･･･何気ないようでいて、実は大切な何かを思い出させてくれる作品です。

ラーメンズ好きの人にも当然お勧めしますし、他のお笑いを好きな人にもお勧めできます！時間的に２時間半と長いですが、その長さを感じないくらいににガンガンハマっていきます。気が付いたら２時間半？みたいな感じで。
ただ、純粋に演劇が好きな人にはあまり胸張ってお勧めできないかも。
脚本的にはそれほど分厚い内容ではないし。

演劇ではあるけれど、そこはやっぱり小林さんの作った物。
「演劇」ではなく、素晴らしいロングコント。
そう思った方が正しいかと。
