グランツーリスモがＲＰＧだとすると、このゲームはアクションです。

購入を検討されている人は公式サイトでデモムービー（ﾄﾚｲﾗｰ）を見たかと思われますが、内容はそれ以上に過激です。
デモで流れているようなド派手で過激なシーンや、アングルが普通にゲームで体験できます。
そしてクラッシュだけでなく、体感速度がとんでもなく物凄いです。
ニードフォースピードが物凄く遅く感じてくるくらい。
常にアドレナリン全開で対向車をビュンビュン避けて行くのがたまらない。
そして音声ガイドにＦＭラジオで活躍中のＭＣを起用していて、よく洋ゲにありがちな妙な日本語の翻訳も無いのも嬉いところです。
ＭＣの声がゲームにとてもよくマッチしていてとてもよい

購入を迷っている人は絶対買ったほうがいい。後悔はしない

ゲーム中で使われている文字フォントに
妙なセンスを感じてしまった・・・。
ド派手で勢い重視なゲーム性と、
やけにかしこまったフォント・・・
微妙なブレンドが、かなりツボ。

このソフトは、同名ソフトのBEST版です。
リアルな挙動・セッティング要素を全て捨て、爽快感に全てをつぎ込んだゲームです。
しかも、ギアを操作もありませんので、シンプルすぎる操作性でストレス発散ゲームの魅力満載です。
このゲームタイトルにもなっている「テイクダウン」（レース中にライバルを意図的にクラッシュさせる事）によりブーストメーターがＭＡＸに、そのブーストを使うことで強烈な加速が体感できる。

【良い点】
・クラッシュした時の車の壊れっぷりも非常に美しい。
・音楽、このゲームに収録されている音楽はかなりセンスがいい！！
・そしてオンラインで世界中を相手にレース・クラッシュを競うモードが出来る。特に無料で出来る点。

【悪い点】
・ロード時間がちょっと長め。
・オンライン時のチャットでUSBキーボードに対応してない点

「公道をぶっ飛ばしたい」的な人向いていると思います。
手軽に楽しめつつ、“やりこみ派”向けの要素が多数あり、ボリューム満点でオススメします。
