ゆず初のBESTアルバム『HOME』と『GOING』
この『HOME』には1997-2000（前半）の曲が１５曲入っています。

『地下街』~『なにもない』と始まり『雨と泪』や『月曜日の週末』など、ただのシングルの寄せ集めではなく若かりし頃（失礼）の元気いっぱい、（詩も音源的にも）ストレートなゆずが感じられると思います。

ただ、ゆずファンならこの『HOME』を買わなくても全部の曲を持ってると思うんですよね…。
欲を言えば『ゆずマンの夏』からも曲を入れて欲しかったし、他にもまだまだ入れて欲しかった曲はあります。

お金がもったいない気がしますが、ゆずファンであることと、リマスタリングと36Pブックレットに惹かれて、買ってしまうと思います。

そんなこんなで☆は４つですが、ジャケットもカワイイし、ゆずをあまり知らない人にも凄くお勧めできるCDです。

ゆず以降、数々の人達がストリートからメジャーデビューしましたが、ゆずを超えるミュージシャンは今現在も現れていません。これはゆずの発する声が圧倒的に素晴らしいからではないでしょうか。以前ライブに行った際、二階後方の席からマイクを使わず発する二人の声がはっきりと鼓膜の奥にまで響き渡りました。音域が広い、歌が巧い人は何人もいます。ただ彼らの響く→伝わる→感動させるその声は特別な存在でしょう。歌詞も一歩ずつ緩やかに着実に成長してます。だからこそ、このアルバムがベストなモノだとは思いません。売り上げを上げる為の音楽界にはびこる悪質なベスト盤乱発策のひとつでしょう。過去の作品を一枚ずつ聴く事をお勧めします

嗚呼、青春の日々までの曲が収録されています。

しかし、ベスト版というのはファンとしては素直に喜べないところがあります。
ＣＤとしてもってる曲をそのまま集めて収録されているだけですからね。
アレンジや再レコーディングしてくれれば価値があがると思いますが、
そう思っている人ばかりではないので難しいところですね。
Goingの方は最後の曲だけ新曲だということですけれども
一応両方買う予定ですが、一回聞いて終わりそうな気がします・・・
