　このアルバムはＢＥＧＩＮの、メジャー・デビューする以前にイカ天レーベルから発表されたミニ・アルバムの復刻盤。「恋しくて」以外は全て洋楽カバー。エリック・クラプトン、カーペンターズなどの名曲がここで聴けるのだが、思えば初期のＢＥＧＩＮの楽曲はこのような洋楽を意識したものがほとんどだった（メロディ、音作りなど）。「ＴＨＥ　ＲＯＯＴＳ」「ＭＹ　ＨＯＭＥ　ＴＯＷＮ」「ＵＳＥＤ」あたりが最高傑作だと思ってる自分にはこのアルバムはかなり魅力的だった。初期の音楽性のルーツも感じられた。もちろん現在の彼らだって素晴らしいことに変わりはない。「ユガフ島」など傑作も生み出している。ただ、本音を言えば沖縄を強く打ち出している今よりあの頃のＢＥＧＩＮに洋楽好きな自分は魅力を感じてしまうのだ。「イエスタデイ・ワンス・モア」の軽快なアレンジにはびっくりさせられたが、それを見事に歌いきっている比嘉さんはこのころからすでに超がつく天才シンガー。「ミセス・ロビンソン」を日本語歌詞で歌うのにも驚きだが、これもまた素晴らしい。「悲しき街角」「メロディ・フェア」といった洋楽カバーも発表していたＢＥＧＩＮだが、いつか本格的な洋楽カバー・アルバムを発表・・・なんてことになれば面白いと思う。
