ヴェラー・カルテット
私はその存在すら知りませんでした。
ブログの仲間から、ヴィーンのコンマスをしていた、ヴェラーという人が組んでいたカルテットの演奏が素晴らしいよ、と教えてもらいました。
このボックスでも入っているハイドンのカルテットのＣＤをまずは購入しました。実に均整の取れた演奏、音程、リズムも良く、この時代にこんな素晴らしい団体があったのかと驚いています。シューベルト、ベートーヴェン、バルトークなど、このボックスでないと聴けない演奏が多いです。ハイドンを持っていても、このＣＤは買うに値するものだと思います。
