クリアするだけなら凄く簡単。

「この敵はこういうコンボで倒してみよう」
と、目的を自分で立てられるかが遊べるかどうかのカギかも。

個人的には罠のコンボを考えるのが遊びどころだと思っています。
（まあ、人それぞれではあるんですが）

ただクリアしがいがあるか、と言われると無いですね＾＾；
難易度は簡単すぎるくらいです（クリアのみを目標とした場合は）
ストーリーは普通かな･･･。
やり込み要素は罠コレクションとコスチュームくらい
（やりこみに値するかどうかは微妙です。すぐに集まるような？そうでもないような？）
登場する女の子は皆可愛いです。

罠を使って遊べるかどうかが面白さの分かれ目ですね。
罠の種類は程々に多彩かな？という感じです。
人を選ぶのは間違いないですね。

敵のAIが賢くないので、クリアすること自体はとても簡単。
トラップのヒット数を稼ぐ楽しさはありますが、すぐに飽きると言えば飽きるかも。
ストーリーモードのボリュームも少なめ。
過去の作品に比べるとゲームとしては質が落ちているような。

トラップを使って侵入者を撃退するというコンセプトのアクションゲーム。武器が特殊なだけに戦闘はパズルの要素が強く、とっつきは悪いのですが、コツさえ飲み込んでしまえば然程苦も無く先に進むことが出来ます。
操作に慣れ、自分の扱いやすいトラップのコンボが確立するとかなりスムーズにクリアーできてしまいますが、この作品はストーリーを楽しむというより、侵入者へのダメージの与え方を、自分で考えて実行することを楽しむ作品です。ダメージの与え方が千差万別なので、追求していくときりが無いくらいはまってしまいますし、逆にやり込む事に楽しみが見出せない方にはつらいゲームだと思います。
過去作とのつながりがあるのも、シリーズを通してプレイしている者としてはうれしいですね。あのキャラクターが出て来た時には懐かしさがこみ上げてきました。
難点はロードの多さ＆長さ。正直テンポの悪さには閉口させられました。またセーブがインターミッションでしか出来ないのも、やり込みゲーとしてはマイナスだと思います。
トラップコンプを目指すも良し、ダークイリュージョンを全て探すも良し、コンポ数を究め、高得点を目指すも良し、派手な演出を楽しむも良し、楽しみ方を自分自身で考えるゲームです。
