以前までの曲に比べると迫力に欠けるというかリンプらしくない。
宣伝もなにもせずいきなり店頭に並べるというやり方はとても格好良いとは思う。
サウンドはそこそこ洗練されてきたし良いんだけれど、聴きたいと思わせるようなアルバムではなかった。

いや、これはこれで凄いです。前作のようにポップで迫力に欠けるものではなく、アルバムとしての完成度は高いと思います。やはりこのバンドはウェスのギターでもってるんですね。

1stのころの感じが戻ってきたというレヴューが結構ありましたが、これ全然1stのころと違います。第一黒すぎ。1stを聞いた後に残るのは爽快感でしたが、本作を聞いた後に残るのは空虚さと疲労感。1stはジェットコースターにでも乗った感じでかなりぶっ飛びますが、本作は聞いていると何か叩き壊したくなるような怒りに満ちています。こんなサウンドはFaithやNookieやHotDogからはとても想像出来ません。

悲しいのはリーサルの存在感が全然ないことです。へヴィなサウンドを追求したために、リーサルの入り込む余地が殆ど残ってない。かつて絶頂にあった頃のリンプの作品には、彼のスパイスがしっかりと利いていたんですが。

次作にはそのあたり、もう少しハッチャけたリンプを期待したいところです（二部作だから次のも重たくて怖い感じなんでしょうけど）。

今作は2曲目と6曲目がメイン。
この２曲が好きなら買うべきやと思います。
まずウェスのディストーションとリフが好きな人は大満足なはず。
1stの頃のエネルギーを彷彿させるPVでは狭いスタジオでひたすらはじけまくり！
フレッドのボーカルもラップよりロック色が強くなり、良い方向に進んでいると感じました。
残念なのはドラムのジョンが休業中な所。
ジャズ出身のジョンのドラムパフォーマンスがバンドにマッチしてただけにはやく復帰して欲しいです。
個人的には大好きなアルバムです。
