「アラン・パーソンズ・プロジェクト」というグループの、『ドント・アンサー・ミー』というヒット曲があります。1980年代に全米チャートの10位台に入ったそうで、現在35歳の私は、TV神奈川の洋楽番組で見た記憶があります。
先日、私は、『ラブ・パレード』と『ドント・アンサー・ミー』を聴き比べてみました。同席していた知人にも聴いてもらいました。私および知人の意見としては、この２曲は、「同じ」曲です。「似ている」とか、「パクリ疑惑」といったレベルでは、ありません。「某Ｋ氏の『さくら（疑惑曲）』」と「徳永英明の『僕のそばに（原曲）』」の類似など、『ラブ・パレード』と『ドント・アンサー・ミー』の同じっぷりに比べたら、かわいいものです。この２曲を、前奏（イントロ）から聴き比べてみて下さい。文字通り、愕然とされることと思います。
