デビューシングルに始まり、新曲に終わる2枚組ベストアルバム。
海外のバンドに引けを取らない楽曲・サウンドのクオリティを見せる1枚目。
鍵盤を大胆に導入し、PEALOUTとして真のオリジナリティを獲得した2枚目。
11年間の軌跡を知るにはもってこいの内容だと思う。
インタビュー等でも常々
「永遠なんてものはない。だから1本のライブで全てを出し尽くすんだ。」
と話していた彼等。まさに42.195キロを走り抜ける短距離ランナーのような
そんな11年間。シーンのトレンドとは一線を画した音楽スタイル。
PEALOUTは決してファッショナブルなバンドではなかったけれど、
だからこそ、その剥き出しの誠実さが僕等の心を打ったのだと思う。
皮肉なことに最後の新曲"PEACE,ENERGY AND LOVE"で
PEALOUTは新しいステージに登った。
最後の最後まで進化し続けた素晴らしいバンドだった。

　ベストアルバムの名にふさわしいほどに各作品から代表曲が
選ばれている。

　彼らの歌には“APRIL PASSENGER”や“流浪の光”、“旅人の歌”、
“ROLLS”など、この場所にとどまらずに歩いたり転がったり流れて
いったりと旅をイメージさせる言葉が多くちりばめられている。彼ら
が人生という旅の中で出会う一期一会の感情や人、瞬間を大切に描いて
いたことの表れだろう。

　バンド名を冠したあまりにもドラマチックな最後の新曲“Peace,
Energy And Love”からは彼らの、バンドとロックに対する真摯な
姿勢と愛情が痛いほど伝わってくる。こんな名曲を最後につくることが
できた彼らは本当に幸せなバンドだと思う。

PEALOUTの11年は変化の連続だった。
歌詞は英語から日本語へ。
地を這う轟音のうねりから、鍵盤が飛び跳ねて歌う音へ。
どこまでも永遠に変わり続けると思っていた。
終わりなんてないと思っていた。
でも、終わらない旅は、終着駅を見つけ、
3人の旅人は「Peace, Energy And Love On Unchained Time」
という“愛”を残し、3人は別々の旅に向かう。
