    曲は、アナキンがダークサイドに入っていってしまう
    様子を表していて、聴いていて怪しげというか不気味と
    いうか、そういう曲もあったけれど、全体的に
    ジョン・ウィリアムズ氏のかっこいい曲調とあいまって
    十分な味を出していました。

    特典ＤＶＤは、６部作の中からピックアップした曲を
    今までのスターウォーズ作品の映像の良いところを
    集めてうまく編集されており、見ていて心躍るものが
    ありました。
    私も、何を言っているのか知りたかったので、
    字幕の付いている日本版の方にいたしました。

    総じて買って後悔のしない内容になっていると思います。
    ファンならば、是非。

    映画が好きでもサントラＣＤは購入したことのないボクですが、
    このスター・ウォーズ３サントラは予約して買いました。
    何といっても、エピソード１から６をダイジェストで見せてくれるＤＶＤが付いているからです。
    イアン・マクダーミドの語りで各エピソードがテーマ曲と映像でつづられます。
    もちろん、間もなく公開のエピソード３の映像もたっぷりありました。
    鳥肌が立ったのは、やはりエピソード４のエンディングです。
    ルーク、ソロ、チューバッカがレイア姫のもとへ歩いていき、雄叫びをあげるあの名シーンです。
    あの後、今日まで、誰がこれだけの世界が広がると予想したでしょう。
    いよいよスター・ウォーズも完結ですね。長い間、夢をありがとう！！

    スターウォーズのエピソード４のころの、ジョン・ウィリアムス指揮ロンドン響は田舎楽団のような下手糞なもので、
    当時、ズビン・メータ指揮ロスフィルの「スターウォーズ組曲」を擦り切れるほど聴き、
    ＬＰを２枚とＣＤ化されてからもさんざん聴いたものですが、スターウォーズ新シリーズになってからのこのコンビは凄い。
    ロンドン交響楽団のクラシック音楽の演奏技術も、８０年代クラウディオ・アバドが音楽監督をやった当時から飛躍的に上手になり、
    昔の良きイギリスの楽団という雰囲気ではなく、ある意味ベルリンフィルやウィーンフィルよりフレキシブルに様々な音楽に対応できている。
    もちろん、作曲者であるジョン・ウィリアムスの指揮者としての成長もあるが、楽団の演奏技術のたぶんにある。
    スターウォーズの１２３のサントラはどれも曲・演奏とも素晴らしい。
    その中で特に最後の「シスの復讐」は傑出している。
