アルバム自体のレビューとしては、選曲がちょっと…、という感じです。
もちろんPRIESTを語る上で不可欠な名曲である名曲はたいてい収録されていますが、
なんであの曲がないの？というのが感じられます。
その例として、"The Sentinel"（個人的にPriest最強の曲）、"Rock Hard Ride Free"、"Jawbreaker"があります。
どれもアルバム"Defenders Of The Faith"収録です。
でも、Priestを知りたいという人にはうってつけのベスト盤だと思います。
Priest初心者にはこのアルバムと"Unleashed In The　East"、"Defenders Of The Faith"をおすすめします。

紙ジャケ盤のレビューとしては05リマスターが非常に良い出来です。
しかもリマスター担当は長年Priestのアルバムをプロデュースしてきたトム・アロムです。
01リマスターよりも迫力があります。

ただ、紙ジャケ盤はどれもそうなんですが、
ディスクがビニールに入っているだけなので、
ディスクをデリケートに扱いたいのであれば
ケースを用意しておきましょう。

最近思うんだけど、ジューダス、メイデンを聴いて、良さが分かって、
初めてメタラーになれる。
最近の・・メタルを聴いてメタル分かった気になったらダメですよ。

選曲は、個人的にはイマイチだが、ハルフォード時代の代表楽曲を収録したベスト盤だ。時系列ではなく、「ヘリオン〜エレクトリック・アイ」で始まって、「ナイト・クロラー」で終わる構成も面白い。これを通して聴いていると胸がじーんとくるのは、私だけではないだろう。全くハルフォードあっての、ジューダス・プリーストである。ジューダスを聴いたことの無いメタル・ファンを自称する人がもしいたら、このアルバムと初期の集大成的ライブ盤「イン・ジ・イースト」だけは是非聴いて、ジューダスの新しさ、素晴らしさを体験して欲しい。
