60年代の音楽シーンを代表する音楽ジャンルが「ボサノヴァ」でした。
このＣＤは、「ボサノヴァ」のベスト・アルバムとも言えるほど代表曲を全部聴くことが出来て大変お徳です。

当時、日本の音楽ファンに「ボサノヴァ」のリズムと雰囲気を伝えた「セルジオ・メンデスとブラジル66」の代表作でこのＣＤ８曲目の「マシュ・ケ・ナダ」から、私は「ボサノヴァ」のファンになりました。ジャズやポップスのアレンジが冴え、心地よいサウンドに仕上がっています。

有名なアントニオ・カルロス・ジョビンの作曲した１２曲目の「イパネマの娘」も改めて聴きました。ジョアン・ジルベルトもいいですが、元妻のアストラッド・ジルベルトの歌う「イパネマの娘」は、40年経った今でも「ボサノヴァ」の代名詞です。小野リサもいいですが、アストラッド・ジルベルトはとても上手ですね。

１０曲目の「ワン・ノート・サンバ」を作曲したアントニオ・カルロス・ジョビンはすでに亡くなりましたが、「ボサノヴァの神様」と呼ばれたジョアン・ジルベルトは、70歳を越えてまだ健在でなによりです。

ジョアン・ジルベルトがスタン・ゲッツと一緒に演奏した１７曲目の「コルコヴァード」も同様です。ジャジーな演奏は、今聴いても新鮮です。この軽快さが、「ボサノヴァ」の醍醐味ですね。スタン・ゲッツは、ジャズの世界で活躍しましたが、アメリカにおいては、60年代初頭のボサノヴァ・ムーヴメントの立役者たといえると思います。この後、スタン・ゲッツと袂を分かったジョアン・ジルベルトは隠遁生活といってもいい生活を送ります。きっと彼の気持ちに何かが起こったのでしょうね。ジョアン・ジルベルトのささやくような歌声は、疲れた現代人にとっては、「ヒーリング・サウンド」といえましょう。

女性ヴォーカル･グループのクァルテート・エン・シーでヒットした「おいしい水」（９曲目）をアストラッド・ジルベルトが爽やかに歌っています。今聴いても新鮮な響きを持っており、軽快で、「ボサノヴァ」の醍醐味を満喫できる歌声ですね。

「ボサノヴァ」の音楽が部屋を満たしています。とても明るい光が室内に入ってくるような気分で聴いています。肩の凝らない音楽っていいですね。
