ＲＯＶＯの２００２年発表の５枚目のアルバムです。人力トランスバンドとして紹介されることが多いのですが、サウンド的には、ｖｎ、ｄｒ×２、ｋｅｙ×２、ｇ等による、エレクトリック・ディスコ・テクノミュージックとでも形容すればいいでしょうか。
他のレビュアーも仰っているように、ＴＲ１、２のような曲での、後半にかけての昇華は、気持ちよさ抜群のものですが、キーを握っているのは、やはり、勝井氏のスペイシーなヴァイオリン、芳垣氏の力強く、正確無比なドラム、そして、浮遊感のあるキーボードでしょうか。
決して、万人向けのアルバムではありませんので、星は４つにしますが、参加ミュージシャンのメンツに興味のある方には、一聴をお奨めのアルバムです。

2002年11月21日リリース。現時点で一番好きなアルバムだ。トータルで74分にもなるこのアルバム。12分から14分程度というほどよいトランス時間の佳曲6曲でできている。強くなく、弱くなく。心地よい。

聴いているうちにいつのまにか自分のリズムがいつもと変わり、口から全く違った言語が出てきそうになる。全ては錯覚なのだが、錯覚を覚える自分の意識の新しさにだんだん埋没していく。そしてどんどんと立っているべき大地すら沈んでいって、空気も大地も引きずり込んで一体化する究極の錯覚に陥る。

この感覚が『トランス』だ。

何となく夢のなかに暖かみを感じながらいる気持ちになる作品だ。
