バトルはコンボ等を稼ぐつもりがなければ単調ですが、エンカウントが有限であり、アイテムで操作もしやすかったので、その点には好感を持てました。
錬金術はストーリーに密接に関係していますが、やりこみ度は少々低めです。
ストーリーは一部べたかな〜とも思いますが、結構おもしろく、心温まります。　特に、今まで歩んだ道をある経緯を経て再び一から歩んでいる時には心が躍りました＾＾
全体的に手軽でサクサクとできて、短いわけでもないので良作ではあります。
非常に良い素材だと思うのですが、あと一工夫足りなかったような感じですね。

アトリエシリーズを最初からやっていますが、もう調合要素はRPGのオマケ程度でしかありません。
物語を進めるのに必要な調合を除けば調合時間のなんと少ないこと。
アトリエ好きの多くが楽しむ「調合を極める」必要性が全く無いのです。品質の良いものを作ってもメリットがありません。
しかしRPGとしては面白いです。画面も見やすいしヒントが多いので進めやすい。レベル上げの必要も無いのでサクサク進めます。
「アトリエのRPG」とは考えずに「RPGにアトリエのオマケ」と考えれば楽しめるゲームかと思います。
クリア時間は20時間切りました。その点が物足りないかな。まだ前作のほうが入れ込めました。アトリエ初心者向け簡単RPGです。

ヤリコミ要素が無いので、それは残念ですが、その分サクサク進み、一定量以上敵が出ないという素晴らしいシステムのため、ストレスもありません。
戦闘も『アクティブなんたらかんたら』と名前が付いてますが、行動選択中も流れる訳ではなくゆっくり出来ます。
ただ、ブレイク攻撃だけしていれば戦闘が終わってしまうため、必殺を使う機会が無いのが残念・・（戦い方によるでしょうが自分の場合は）。

ただ、最初に書いたとおりヤリコミ要素は特に無く（無いこともありませんが、とてもやる気になる物ではない）、ストーリーに詰まることも無いので、長くは遊べません。ちょっと遊べる、ちょっと面白いゲームです。
それにしては、ちょっと高いので兼価版を待つのも良いかもしれません。
