ここには、今まで様々に渡ってきた大友さんの活動の全てがあります。全てがフィードバックして、新たな境地を創り上げています。
それになんと言っても、とても聴きやすい作品になっています。大友さんによる「うたもの」って、こんな感じなのではないでしょうか。
ここからが大友さんの新たなる始まりなのだと思います。

大友さんを初めて聴く人にもお勧めです。

全体に軽いので、寝しなに流して聞くのによいかもしれません。ムードミュージック風な部分が多いですが、オーネットの曲なんか案外笑えますし、ミンガスの曲がジャズっぽくて思わずニヤニヤします。軽く「渋さ知らズ」風に行くところもあります。なんだかコラージュのようでもあります。
そんなこんなで思ったより楽しめたのですが、もっと乾いた笑いを追及する手もありそうです。協同プロデューサーの沼田順さんはパンクなのですから。
