人気ホラーゲームの三作目。
このシリーズは、そのてのゲームの中で群を抜いてセンスの良さを感じます。
正直、大人向けの作品世界の魅力であり、いわゆるヒロイックな爽快感とは
無縁のものであると感じました。

このゲームには裏世界と表世界というシステムがあり、その対比が異様な世界
の美醜を際立たせています。まさに悪い夢でも見ているような、人の心の奥底に
ある地獄が具現化したような映像的リアリティが素晴らしいと思いました。

技術の進化と共に、このサイレントヒルシリーズの世界がよりリアルに
伝わるようになったのではないかと思うくらい、映像が綺麗です。
それこそヒロインの肌のそばかすがリアルに見える程でした。
シリーズ特有の怖さも相変わらず。ゲーム自体も面白かったです。

ちなみに廉価版の本作は「リバーシブルジャケット」という事で、ジャケット裏面
に正規のジャケットがちゃんと印刷されていますので、気にする人はご安心を。

バイオハザードより数倍コワくて、プレイしているときのドキドキ感がたまらなくいいです。
ストーリーもよく出来ていてダンジョン構成もそんなに複雑ではありませんが、カメラが自動でかなり動くので少し見ずらいかもしれません。
ですが慣れればそんなに気にならなくなります。
バイオよりコワいホラーゲームを求めている人にはオススメですよ。

サイレントシリーズ３作目。
バイオシリーズが物理的な怖さを売りにしているとすれば、こちらは精神的に追い詰める雰囲気。血がダメな人は全くダメな作品です。

精神描写が多いので、派手な演出が好みな人は少し物足りないでしょう。しかもアクション性も求められ、ヌルい人ではクリアーが難しいかもしれません。ストーリーは宗教概念というか、科学的に解説出来ない話ばかりなので、それを納得出来る人は面白いと思われます。

グラフィックは及第。物足りなさはありません。敵の描写も気持ち悪さ満点。この世の物とは思えない動きが雰囲気抜群。武装も鉄パイプなどの現実的な物から、ショットガンや火炎放射器などの、この手のゲームのデフォである特殊武器も取り揃えてあります。クリアー後には某超有名SF映画の武器も使えるオマケ付き。こんな隠し武器や隠し衣装も豊富で、やり込み度は高いでしょう。

前作からの連続性はありませんが、少しだけ関連する部分があるので、前作をやっていて損は無いです。しかしその部分はホントに少ないので、あえて前作からやらなければならない事は無いです。
お話として明確な結末が語られないのがやや難点ですが、それでも十分佳作と言える作品でしょう。この値段なら間違いなくお買い得です。
